Why the Christian left is hostile to the Christian right

Barack Obama is not an evangelical.

Barack Obama is not a conservative reader of scripture.

Barack Obama certainly is not a student of theology.

But this? Come on.

    I love how unequivocally this is stated:

    "One cannot deny ... the deity and uniqueness of Christ as the sole mediator between God and Man and be a Christian."

    According to his biblical interpretation, he means. As a Christian, I believe that Christ is a guaranteed path to God, but I agree with everything Obama says here. Does that not make a Christian? Apparently...
