Obama the theocrat?

Adele Oltman makes the fairly bizarre argument that the Martin Luther King Obama resembles is actually King Sr.--because Obama's theology and views of church and state are too liberal conservative [corrected typo--thanks, Anonymous] for the younger King.

Not so fast, says Mark Silk.

    Except that what you write is not what Adele Oltman wrote in her Nation article. Go back and read it. You'll be surprised.

    My mistake--I must have revised my sentence structure in this post but forgot to change "liberal" to "conservative." So, the opposite of what I wrote--Oltman suggests that Obama reflects the CONSERVATISM of King Sr. more than the social gospel liberalism of King Jr. and the civil rights movement.

    And I agree w/ Silk's critique of Oltman's piece.
