Darwin and the existence of God

Looking ahead to the 200th anniversary of Darwin's death and the 150th of On the Origin of Species, Jonathan Sacks offers some good thoughts on how Darwin's insights can actually be HELPFUL to people of faith as they contemplate God and nature. He also makes the very good point that the argument for God's existence from design--the particular thing people are referring to when they say that Darwin directly challenges God or whatever--is pretty foreign to the Hebrew Bible. In fact, it comes from the intellectual world of ancient Greece.
