The second half of this Jay Smooth video is particularly good--on how despicable it is to mock community organizing:



The suggestion that community organizing--in Obama's case and many others, working long hours for very little pay trying to help marginalized people stand up for their rights and engage the political process--is somehow elitist and/or irrelevant, while accepting the status quo power system represents regular American values or whatever, is not just rude. It's completely idiotic.
