Remember "macaca"?
Interesting thought experiment from Dan Schnur: what if Sen. Allen was running for president, as everyone assumed he would be until his reelection campaign went down in flames?

even without "macaca," he wouldn't have won the governorship, and he wouldn't/won't win any presidential nomination. good riddance.
ReplyDeletebut all that doesn't mean (dependeing on the nominee), he wouldn't still be considered a viable veep candidate.
