Budgets are moral downloads

The Bush OMB is releasing its annual budget Feb. 5, and for the first time, it's going paperless.

Such a bold eco-move on the administration's part! Of course, this is what we've come to expect.

The inimitable Sen. Byrd: "Let us hope that they send us a budget that is worth the paper it would have been printed on."

I'm glad I'll be nowhere near the DC policy advocacy community when, on the annual morning on which folks are accustomed to going and picking up a copy of the budget, they instead have to cue up to try to load the 2,200-page doc from OMB's Web site.
