ReplyDeleteSo I'm imagining a clever Republican doodled a Democrat Food Pyramid and trying to determine what it would consist of.
Like those word puzzles on standardized tests. The Poor is to Republicans as ______ is to Democrats.
I'm pretty sure the bottom layer would be aborted babies. The second layer would be blacks and gays, and the top layer would be botox in John Kerry and Nancy Pelosis foreheads.
I'm thinking apathetic voters should fill in one of the boxes as well.
Let me know if I'm on the right track. I figure its kindof like a crossword puzzle once you get a few boxes filled in the rest fall into place.

ReplyDeleteTo be clear, I posted this because I thought it was funny, not because I thought it was fair or accurate.
And yes, an equally cute Dem counterpart could be drawn. But blacks and gays? Not sure where you're going w/ that one.
For some reason I thought the 2nd layer included 2 groups that vote overwhelmingly Republican but are seen by Democrats as taken for granted and poorly represented.

Like I said, I was having trouble understanding it. If you could put on your clever Republican thinking cap (probably thought of as terrifying and possibly oxymoronic) and come up with something to fill in the blanks, that might help.
To be clear, I wasn't trying to be fair or accurate either, just thought it would help me understand and possibly be equally amusing to imagine what this doodle would have looked like if it were done by someone as far right as the author was to the left.
