Letter I'd like to send to Obama

Dear Sen. Obama,

I am extremely excited about your campaign. I lived in Chicago in 2004, and it was thrilling to for once watch the underdog, inspiring candidate actually rise to the top and win. It's incredible that the Democrats right now have the opportunity to nominate a single candidate who has arguably the best liberal bona fides of the frontrunners AND the best crossover appeal to Republicans--along with being a person of color. I strongly believe that you have the potential to bring the country together, not by merely endorsing centrist-consensus sort of stuff but by showing genuine respect to people who disagree with you while providing bold moral leadership at home and abroad.

I also understand that, however bold and pure some of your goals might be, you won't make it through a national election without the occasional strategic compromise. So, here is my promise: if you will unequivocably revoke this shameless pandering and nonsensical attack on Sen. Clinton's slightly-less-shameless triangulating by, say January 4, I might actually show up at the polls to vote for you.

Or maybe I'll calm down in a day or so. Not like energy policy matters that much these days.

Best,
Steve

  1. I believe senator Obama is the man to become the next USA president:

    (1) He can unite the USA , and the rest of the people of the world to be more loving and caring for eachother.

    (2) He is bi racial, a product of a white woman and a black man. His mother being a white woman and brought up by her, means he understand the white people more and also the strugle of none white people.

    (3) Obama was brought up by a poor mother and made is way to law scholl , therefore he understand the suffering of poor people both white and black people.

    (4) Obama will elimate poverty from the American people , He will also make peace with all nations and also destroy all new clear weapons in the world.

    (5) Obama will get rid of all automatic guns ,only leaving the police and the military to carry such weaponds.

    (6) Obama will help to wipe out poverty off the face of the Earth and ensure parents will only have the amount of children they can adequately support and care for.

    (7) Obama will provide compulsory health care for every American who cannot afford it.

    (8) Obama will ensure every American child get at least a high school education.

    (9) Finally Obama will bring peace to the world and all those billion of dollars that are use for arms and weapons will be used to build, schools, homes, hospitals, and other things for the betterment of the people of America and the world.

(10)Obama is a man sent by God to rescue the world. He will be elected by the American people as the next USA president.

    (11) Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary got their chance already and they weren`t able to do what the world needs as I have mentioned above. so Hillary is going no where.
