The bomb throwers have it

You know, in general I try not to be too quick to side with the bomb throwers over the bridge builders. I have a fairly instinctual preference for building stuff over blowing it up, to the point that I find myself spending more time defending people I disagree with to other people I also disagree with (i.e., evangelicals and very-liberal mainline Protestants and back again) than actually saying what I myself think. (Those who know me will point out that it's not that I don't find time to say what I think--I just talk a whole lot. I'm speaking relatively here.)

That said: pastordan talks some good sense here. As much as I might try to get excited about the new Third Way "governing agenda," there just isn't that much there.
