No, USA Today headliner, it doesn't. Not even close.

I like Luis Lugo, and religious diversity on Capitol Hill certainly matters.

But the headline for this piece--which, obviously, Lugo himself didn't write--is appalling. Last I checked, people of different religions don't necessarily LOOK different. Meanwhile, we're down to zero black senators again (or one, depending whom you ask).
