The American Prospect plays the oh-who-will-be-running-mate? game for you, so you (and your roommate Dan) don't have to spend most of your time playing it yourself.
Okay, fine--confidential to Dan: despite Harold Meyerson's good points here, I'm still w/ the conventional wisdom on this one--neither Obama nor Clinton is a serious choice for the other's running mate.
Ted Strickland, on the other hand, makes a ton of sense.

funny that edwards isn't even mentioned. whether or not she'd ask him, clinton'd be under significant pressure to ask obama. i don't think the same would necessarily be true if he's the nom.
ReplyDeleteseems like obama did just fine in va, so i don't know about webb - the 'southern governor w/foreign policy experience' makes sense to me, so i was also surprised not to see richardson.
