Jim Jewell sets the record straight

Despite countless breathless headlines to the contrary, the creation care movement's growth does not mean the evangelicals are going Democrat.

    Hmmm, "total life ethic." I could point the new young evangelicals to some great writing on that idea by a certain late, great papist. I find a lot of hope in Jewell's comments. Both conservative evangelical Christians and political liberals (i.e., those who are often seen as "owning" many of the issues in question here) have a lot to gain from the renewed interest of the former group, and the potentially rich and challenging conversations -- and progress -- on the issues it could incite.
