Really? You don't think supporting small producers vs. large is a significant net positive for farmworkers? (Serious, non-rhetorical question--you would know better than I.) Or are you speaking strictly of the right to organize?
On the other hand, mainstream grocery stores have traditionally been organized--that's the sad irony of the Whole Foods/Trader Joe's/Treasure Island thing.
ugh. not sure what food option lets you support worker rights, though, other than growing your own.
